Lakeshore is one of Waterloo's largest and oldest neighbourhoods, centrally located in the city. This established area is known for its wide streets lined with mature trees, numerous schools, parks, and a broad range of amenities, making it a popular choice for many families. 


Lakeshore offers a diverse range of housing options, including single and semi-detached homes, townhomes, and rental apartments, most of which were built in the 60s and 70s.
