The majority of the neighbourhood consists of single detached homes of various sizes, styles, and ages.
The central part of Idlewood includes some attractive homes on generous lots, while the southern end offers newer townhouses and condos. Idlewood boasts extensive greenspace and is a fantastic spot for nature enthusiasts, with the Grand River nearby. Chicopee provides year-round recreational fun. The local schools are well-regarded, and there is a good selection of grocery stores in the area.
