Centreville Chicopee is an east Kitchener neighbourhood situated between Highway 8 and the Grand River, with Idlewood and Stanley Park to the north. Commuters will appreciate the excellent access to the 401 and the nearby expressway. Public transit is convenient, with an LRT stop at Fairview Mall. 


The Centreville area, which predates Chicopee, has homes dating back to the late 1950s. However, most of the housing in the neighbourhood was built between 1970 and 1990, with some newer developments from the early 2000s and ongoing construction around the ski hill. The neighbourhood offers a diverse range of housing options, including rental properties, affordable townhouses, and single-detached homes across various price points.

The more upscale homes are generally found in the newer sections of Chicopee. Recreational opportunities abound with Chicopee ski hill providing year-round activities. The Fairway Road strip features excellent shopping, dining, and a movie theater, while Fairview Mall, currently undergoing renovations, is another popular destination. The Activa Sportsplex is perfect for active children, and the nearby Auditorium hosts OHL games. Additionally, there are five golf courses nearby for enthusiasts.
