Amenities

Additionally, downtown has a variety of smaller shops. Commuting by car is convenient, with easy access to the expressway and Highway 8, and the 401 is approximately 15 minutes away on a typical day. The LRT is just a street over from the neighbourhood, and several bus routes service the area as well. For students attending St. Mary’s High School, the LRT is an excellent transportation option.

The Catholic primary school, St. Anne, and Sheppard Public School are both located in the neighbourhood, with other public schools situated nearby. This mature urban area is a hidden gem, offering many beautiful properties on spacious lots. The older homes around Krug and Weber are century homes, while the properties to the south and east were built in the 1930s and 1940s and are mostly one-and-a-half or two-story homes. The newer properties, primarily bungalows on the east side, are smaller and were constructed in the late 1950s.
